When our family had the opportunity to purchase this beloved local ice cream stand, we knew it was more than just a business — it was a place filled with memories, summer traditions, and smiling faces. We wanted to preserve everything people already loved while creating something new that felt personal, welcoming, and truly ours.

So we rolled up our sleeves, refreshed the space, reimagined the brand, and gave it a name that reflects both our family and our values: True Scoops. The name True Scoops carries special meaning for us. It reflects our commitment to serving high-quality ice cream with genuine care — and it also reflects our family name, a reminder that this shop is deeply personal. Every detail, from the flavors we offer to the atmosphere we create, is rooted in the idea of doing things the right way: warmly, honestly, and with pride.

Today, we’re proud to serve Falmouth with more than 35 delicious flavors, including dairy-free, vegan, and no-sugar-added options — because we believe everyone deserves a sweet treat on a warm Maine day. Whenever possible, we source locally and serve every cone, cup, and sundae with genuine care.
